Jacque
Okay, here's the story about my mom and dad.... no - wait. That's not what I'm talking about. Okay, through Damien & Misty, Rodney and I met a wonderful girl named Jacque (that's jack-ee). At first, of course, she and Rodney hit it off. I won't go into detail about their relationship, because there's no point. It was short and her hurt her. Anyway, she told me at one point that she wanted to talk to me. Rodney's ex-girlfriends/whatever have a tendency to do this - for I am his best friend and so it is assumed that I'm going to know why he is the way he is. So I agreed and we talked one night for about an hour. And since there was nothing really going on, we went out and got coffee. We sat in Village Inn talking for a couple hours and then we went to the park and continued to talk. I got to know a sweet, caring girl that night. It's a damned shame Rodney had to be an asshole to her. Anyway, the next night we did basically the same thing again. She and I are really close friends now and I'm going to remember those two nights for a really long time, if not the rest of my life. Jacque is a wonderful person. In a lot of ways she reminds me of my friend Nancy/snw. They're both punk rock, and they're both strong women. And once you get past that tough exterior, they're both girls! Rodney has convinced himself that Jacque and I had sex or at least made out one or both of these nights. Now, if I were the type of person he is, I probably would have cheated on Theryn. But I'm not. And I didn't. And I don't ever plan on it. And if I ever do become like Rodney, you - the reader, have permission to kick my ass. But anyway, Jacque is a cool girl and I'm really glad I got to know her.
